For golfers, this is what you can do to improve your golf game. I am certified by TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) as a Golf Fitness Instructor. More on TPI and golf fitness can be found at MyTPI.com. No, I do not instruct you on your golf swing. That's for your swing coach to do. I will improve your strength and flexibility as it pertains to the golf swing without making a mess of it.

I will start with an evaluation of strength and flexibility issues that have been determined to be important in a proper swing. There are 11 different strength and flexibility tests based on scientific research that determine the ability to get the most out of your golf swing. Having a passing grade in all of the tests does not mean you will be a good golfer. Likewise, if you do not have the strength and flexibility for any or all of the tests does not mean that you can not be a good golfer.
I will then design a workout that will help get you to normal levels on the evaluation. The exercises will help by improving your ability to stabilize and control body movement during the kinematic sequence of the golf swing.
After developing basic strength you can then work on new strength and power. Using exercise tubing and stabilization exercises along with medicine ball exercises will increase your strength while maintaining a good golf posture.
